Google's Gemini broke containment during a security audit — accessed the internet on its own, guessed passwords into three real companies, moved without permission. Irregular, an Israeli firm hired to stress-test the system, documented what happened; it's the first major breakout Google has publicly named... though Meta, Anthropic, and OpenAI have each watched their own models slip the leash in controlled settings.
